2011 CIE Annual Convention – Symposium and Banquet – Call for Participation

CIE/USA-DFW Chapter invites you to participate in the 2011 Annual Convention on August 20, 2011 (Saturday) at The Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel (900 E. Lookout Dr. Richardson TX 75082). The theme of this year is “Global Transformation – Emerging Technologies for the New Decade”.

There are 2 major parts during the convention. The first part is the Emerging Technology Symposium in the afternoon, and the second part is the Convention Banquet in the evening. Below are the details:

Part I: Emerging Technology Symposium (1 pm – 5 pm)

The symposium is free and open to public. However, you are required to register online at http://www.cie-dfw.org. We are honored to have Mr. Jon Summers, the Senior VP of Cloud Realization of AT&T, to be our keynote speaker of the symposium. Following that, there will be 2 parallel technical sessions, focusing on the topics of Cloud Technology and Digital Media.

Part II: Annual Convention Banquet (5:30 pm – 9:00 pm)

During the banquet, we are honored to have Dr. Steve Dobbs, Sr. Group President of Fluor, to be our dinner keynote speaker. Online registration at http://www.cie-dfw.org is also required. The cost of the banquet is $35 for CIE members, and $50 for non-members. Please consider to join as CIE member to take advantage of the member price. During the banquet, there will be performances, and the announcement of Young Achiever Award recipients, the Outstanding Community Service Award recipients, and the new officer election results.
