2013 National Science Bowl (NSB) – North Texas Region – Pre-Event Release

CIE/USA-DFW is proudly co-hosting the National Science Bowl (NSB) North Texas Region High School level competition with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) UT Arlington Chapter and UT Arlington College of Engineering at UT Arlington on March 9, 2013 (Saturday). The NSB is a nationwide academic competition that tests students’ knowledge in all areas of science. Students are quizzed in a fast paced question-and-answer format similar to Jeopardy. Competing teams from diverse backgrounds are comprised of four students, one alternate, and a teacher who serves as an advisor and coach. General public are welcome to become the audience and watch the excitement of the competition.
